I know this is an unusual type of post, but I'm signalboosting for the WIP Reverse Big Bang - one of the art pieces is for Astro.

Not many artists got their stuff in on time so there are only four artworks up for grabs, but they've opened it up so as many writers as want to can claim any one piece. The art thumbnails aren't necessarily the completed works - some will be preliminary drawings or collages from which the final art will be made. The post is definitely still open for claims. Min wordcount is 7500 and schedule and FAQs are here.

Reason for reccing: This is an amazing AU with such a great Yoongi POV and a Hobi characterization that I don't think I've seen anywhere else. It made me cry but also laugh so hard (Jin, you guys, Jin). The perfect combination of softness and angst and sweetness.

This time, Wonwoo tries the other option that floats in front of him. Instead of regressing to the first part of the map, again, Wonwoo chooses RESURRECTION.

The landscape transforms. Everything rumbles softly. Something shimmers from the distance and a new map unfolds.

Reason for reccing: THIS FIC IS AMAZING! The format is so clever, but on top of that, it manages to achieve so much emotional depth. This is really an artistic achievement and one of the coolest, most unique fics I've seen maybe ever. Highly recommend!!

Reason for reccing: Full disclosure, I did give the prompt which inspired this—but it's still so much more than I could have imagined! This is such a brilliant, nuanced take on idolverse and established relationship fic. The conflict is really grounded in the characters individually and the whole group's dynamics with each other and within the industry, and at its core this is very much a Seungcheol character study as well. I love the way this fic plays out and the little details that give it so much authenticity. A must read!!

“Can you though?” Jisung whispers but each syllable is heavy and burdened with desperation. With regret.

Or there comes a time where Minho and Jisung must bid one final farewell to each other.
